A message from San Antonio, Texas, states that 13 persons are known to bo dead, including nine members of two families, and it is believed that 20 others may also have perished in floods which swept Southern Texas to-day. Many homes were reduced to driftwood and crops and live-stock valued at 1,000,000 dollars were destroyed.
