NORTHCOTE COMMITTEE
The monthly meeting of the Northcote committee of the Plunket Society was well .attended. The president, Mrs. A. Campbell, presided. The nupe, Miss Joan Carmichael, reported that during June there were 165 visits paid to the Northcote Plunket rooms by 73 adults, 68 babies and 24 older children, besides 32 visits to homes, including 17 new cases. Birkdalo had been included in the visits.
Thanks were recorded for lengthy service as honorary driver to Miss Bettina Edwards, who intimated that for some months she would be unable to continue this duty. The secretary, Mrs. J. W. Lethbridge, reported a successful financial result from the annual Northcote Plunket ball. A donation of one guinea was received from Mrs. A. McFetridge. Votes of thanks were accorded to Mrs. G. Lytollis and Miss A. S. Webley for social assistance throughout the year.
