INCREASE IN HAMILTON [ I'ROM OUH OWN CORKKSPONI)KNT] HAMILTON, Thursday Building permits issued in Hamilton during June represented a value of £5)184, compared with £l2lß for the corresponding month last year. The total number of permits for the month had increased from If to 21. Of the permits issued last month nine were for now dwellings. For the first six months of this year ];i!) building permits have been issued in Hamilton, representing a total value of £69,.'100, and including 58 new houses. These totals represent a considerable increase over the figures for the first six months of 1930, when 105 permits for work estimated to cost £1(3,115), and including 45 new houses, were issued.
