Mrs. K. A. Snedden, of Manukau Road, Epsom, is spending a holiday in Wellington.

Mrs. P. Boyle, of Christehurch, left by the Mariposa on Saturday on a visit to Honolulu.

Mrs. John Farrell, who has been in Auckland for a few weeks, has left for Christehurch.

Mrs. Arthur Friedlaiuler, Gladstone I{oad, Parnell, returned yesterday from a visit to Dunedin.

Miss Kathleen Harvey and Miss Dorothy Neal, representing the North and South Islands respectively, left Auckland 011 Saturday by the Mariposa en route to the Carnegie, Library School, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, United States.

Mrs. W. H. Montgomery, Little River. Canterbury, left Auckland 011 Saturday by the Mariposa for the United States. She will be the guest of Captain and Mrs. 0. E. Dowling, Naval Depot, Dover, New Jersey. Captain Dowling was formerly Governor of American Samoa.

Miss Cora Wilding, honorary organising secretary of the Simlight League, Christchurch,' has been appointed delegate to the Dominion conference on health camps, called by the Minister of Health, the Hon. P. Eraser, for Friday, July 10, in Wellington. Captain Roderick Anderson, secretary of the health camp sub-committee, will also attend the meeting.
