REPRESENTATIVE GAMES
PLAYERS FOR TRAINING The Auckland selector, Mr. 11. Avery, has announced the following players to go into special training in view of the match against the English team at Auckland 011 July 25: — Forwards.—E. Scott, list lib (Devonport); 11. Tetley, list 101b, and ,T. Sathcrlcy, list 91b (Richmond); J. Anderson, 13st 21b (Marist); J. Peterson, list 121b (Mount Albert); E. Morgan, 12st 131b (Ponsonby); J. Gault, 32st Blb, and F. Pickrang, Ktst 121b (Manukau) Backs. —R. Powell, lOst 21b, and W. Tittleton, 12st 41b (Richmond); W. Stockley, lOst 81b, and A. Kay, list 121b (Ponsonby); R. Haslain, 13st (Marist); L. Rrown, list 71b (City); R. Bright, list 71b (Newton); J. Hemi, 12st 21b (Manukau). The players nominated are to meet at Carlaw Park at 7.30 p.m. to-morrow. After being [ medically examined they will undergo a special course of training. Tho selector advises that he reserves the right to replace any of the players who may subsequently •lose form, and ii» addition to those selected, all other senior players will be considered for the North Is'and team.
