FOOTBALL CASUALTIES
FOUR CONCUSSION CASES
ADMISSION TO HOSPITAL Four footballers were admitted to the Auckland Hospital on Saturday afternoon suffering from concussion. All were conveyed in St. John ambulances. Last night the condition ( of none of them was serious. The players were:— Angus Tait Gault, aged 23, of 312 Queen Street, Onehunga, groundsman; Arthur William Carter, aged 23, of 50 Vermont Street, Ponsonby; Robert Hayden Gurney, aged 18, of 31 Randolph Street, Newton, and Winstone Lionel Williams, aged 19, living at the St. Heliers Bay post' office, Another player, a' schoolboy, Eric Frederick Johnson, aged 14, of 8 King Edward Street, Dominion Road, was admitted with a fractured arm.
MISHAP AT HAMILTON
MAN'S PELVIS INJURED [from our own correspondent] HAMILTON, Sunday While playing football at Rugby Park, Hamilton, yesterday afternoon, Aaron Griffiths, aged 31, of Norton Road, Frankton, received an injury to his pelvis. He was admitted to the Waikato Hospital, where the full extent of his injury has not yet been ascertained
TWO MAORI PLAYERS ACCIDENTS AT WHANGAREr [by telegraph OWN correspondent] WHANGAREI, Sunday Two members of the Kiatoa Maori football team wore admitted to the Whangarej' Hospital last evening suffering from injuries received in a match against Old Boys at Kensington Park. The Rev. Monp Tepaa, aged 29, had his jaw fractured, and P. Maliunga, aged 22, of Putekaka, had his left leg broken.
