REPRESENTATIVE GAMES MATCHES AT CARLAW PARK WELLINGTON AND MAORI TEAMS Some fino football is anticipated nt Car law Park this afternoon, when Auckland teams will ho engaged in two representative matches. The chief match will he between Auckland and tho Maori representatives at three o'clock, and as a curtain-raiser Auckland will play Wellington. Tho Maori team contains several of Auckland's leading players and is expected to provide some fast and open football. The Wellington tenm arrived yesterday morning and practised at Cariaw Park in tho afternoon. The side has in its ranks some former prominent Rugby players. Lilburne, fullback, has played in All Black teams both in this position and at tivueighths. Atkins, a former Wellington representative, is the star of the tlneequarter line and id a dashy type of player. The halfback and five-eighths aro said to ho solid. O'Connor is better known as a halfback, while Coman is a former Wellington Rugby representative in this position. Tho forwards are a strong set and expected to provide strong opposition.
