Mrs. D. A. K\von, of Wellington, is visiting Auckland. Mrs. A. J. Denniston, Laurie Avenue, Parnell, lias returned from a visit to Rotorua. Mrs. J. C. Spears returned to New Plymouth yesterday afer a visit to Auckland. Mrs. 1). Bourke, of Cambridge, who has been staying in Auckland, will return to-day. Mrs. M. lierold, of Mexico, and Mrs. .1. G. Coates, of Dargavillc, are at the Grand Hotel. Mrs. A. S. Bailey, of Auckland, who has been visiting The Chateau, has returned home. Mrs. Crompton-Smith, of Havelock North, is the guest of Mrs. H. P. Richmond, Orakei Road, Remuera. Mrs. T. P. Pountney, of Hemuera Road, has taken a flat at Alyerstono while her new house is being built. Mrs, A Deacon, King Edward Parade, Bayswater, has returned from a holiday spent in Now Plymouth. Mrs. 12. A. Cooney, of North Auckland, is visiting her parents, Dr. and Mrs. ill. C. Hayes, of Christehureh. Miss June Donald, of O'Rorke Street, who has been spending a holiday in Rotorua, will return homo to-morrow morning. Miss K. Best, of Wellington, who has been staying in Rotorua as the guest of Mrs. G. H. C. Best, Robertson Street, left for Auckland yesterday. Mrs. G. Beamish, Victoria Avenue, Remuera, who has been spending six weeks' holiday in Australia, returned home by the Wanganella on Wednesday. Mrs. D. B. Robertson, Remuera Road, will leave to-morrow on a visit to Omiha, Waiheko, where she will be the guest of Miss G. Buddie and Miss S. Henderson. Miss F. Burnett, of England, who has been the guest of her sister-in-law, Mrs. F. D. Burnett, Karori, Wellington, will arrive on Sunday on a visit to Auckland. Mrs. G. Cook and Mrs. Arehey Bartleman, of Tauranga, who have been spending a few days in Auckland, will leavo by motor-car to-morrow on their return South. The Henderson branch of the League of Mothers met recently. Mrs. Harvey presided. Miss Spencer gave a talk on Palestine. Hostesses were Mrs. Owen Jones and Mrs. Knaggs. At the Station Hotel are: —Mrs. S. Wyborn (To Aroha), Mrs. A. Robinson (Cambridge), Mrs. S. Davies and Miss M. Davies (Hastings), Mrs. N. Potts (Opotiki) and Miss B. Skinner (Sydney). Miss Leslie Cook, of Tauranga, will leave Auckland to-day by. the Wanganella for Sydney to stay with her cousin. Lady Owen, before leaving for Colombo, where she. will be tho guest of Mrs. Aubrey Ilolliugworth. Miss Lorna Reyburn, of St. George's Bay Road, Parnell, has been visiting Mrs. Eric Russell, of Yurook Station, Western Springs, Victoria. She will leave for Melbourne on Tuesday to commence studies at tho School oi Applied Art.
