A FINE STAYER CAPTAIN BOLT'S PROGRESS For a horse who won his first race last June, Captain Bolt has made fine progress and ranks with tho best trotters in the intermediate class. After running second to Audo Patch in August, he won the Newstead and Frank ton Handicaps at the Waikato Spring Mooting, going 3.31 in the second race. Captain Bolt won the Association Handicap at the December meeting, from a strong field on a holding track and at Cambridge ran second and third in two starts, going 4.-13 4-5 for two miles. He was given a short respite, but if back to form lie has good prospects as he is a fine stayer.
