Sir, —Personally, I have gone to a chemist for arsenic and have obtained lo?. for Is, whereas a pound can bo bought for 2s. Also I have obtained 1 oz. of eucalyptus for Is taken out of a 6oz bottle, which can lie bought retail at from 8d to 9d a bottle. The public health is one of the first considerations, and the time is overdue for the Government to take in hand the supplying of medicines necessary to maintain health. While prices are prohibitive, health goes neglected, often beyond repair. 1 have no fault with the doctor, who makes his charge and tells you what is the matter. Patient.
