MATCH IN QUEENSLAND ENGLISH VISITING TEAM (Received June 15, 9.15 p.m.) BRISBANE, June 15 A record crowd of 5000 attended the Rugby League match at Maryborough, Queensland, between the visiting English team and Wide Bay. Tho gate takings amounted to £330. England defeated Wide Bay by 35 points to eight, and in spite of tho loss of Edwards, Ellerington and Belshaw, who were injured, tho visitors' defence was almost impregnable, and there wore brilliant combined bursts. For England Belshaw scored three tries, and Eisman, Atkinson, McClure and Exley one each. Risman converted seven. For Wide Bay Bullock and Fisher scored tries, one of which was converted by King.
