BLOMFIELD AND BOESCH An excellent wrestling bout should be witnessed at the Town Hall this evening, when "Lofty" Blomfield and Paul Boesch will mebt in a return match under the control of the Auckland Wrestling Association. Both men are fast and scientific exponents, and patrous should be treated to a very interestins display. Blomfield has proved ono of the most popular wrestlers in the Dominion this season, as he can always be depended uppn for a bright exhibition. Ho prefers to meet an opponent who can force the pace from start to finish and in Bocbcli he Bhould find an ideal match. The latter, a recent arrival from America, has ffiven sterlinc performances in southern centres, while he created a' fine impression at the Town Hall in his previous bout with Blomfield. A very active wrestler, he possesses a wide variety of holds and -is very spectacular in his methods.
BLOMFIELD AND RUSSELL DRAW [by telegraph—press association] NEW PLYMOUTH, Sunday A wrestling bout between "Lofty" Blomfield and "Cowboy" Russell at Stratford last night was drawn. Blomfield gained n submission with nn octopus clamp in the fourth round, while Russell evened in the sixth with a press following two slams. A packed house saw a fast, and clever display. Each man secured ouo fall.
