DEFEAT BY DURHAM LONDON, June 11 Durham, which finisher] seventh last year in the second claps qounty cricket, to-day defeated the Indian touring loam by five •wickets in a two days' match at Sunderland. The visitors were endeavouring to force .their first win of the tour, but Dur hnni won in a race against time. The Indians scored 174, nnd 203 for three wickets, declared (Wazir A!i 139 not out). Durham replied with 17(1 (Dobson fi2 not out), and 203 for five wickets (Itandle Sf>) Bannerji took five wickets for 54 rima and five for G5.
