Monday "The committee regrets that the police reports during the past six months are not so satisfactory as usual," said Mr. G. N. Morris, S.M., chairman, at the annual meeting of the Marsden Licensing Committee to-day. "There has been a number of convictions, and it is noticeable that ths breaches have occurred mostly during the absence of the licensees.
"I do not know whether thnt has any particular significance," added Mr. Morris, " but licensees in future must give more rigid instructions to their staffs so that the district may regain its previous good reputation."
