THE MINING MARKET

WAI H I JUNCTIONS RISE MOUNT MORGANS STRONGER Business was fairly brisk in the mining market on the Auckland Stock Exchange yesterday and values were firmer. In the first transfer for almost a month, Waihi Junctions moved up Id to 3s ]Od. Waihi Investments sold unchanged. Mount Morgans again recovered. selling 3d higher at 14s lOd. After recent sharp rises. Golden Crowns again declined, dropping 3d and 6d respectively in transfers at 9s 3d and 9s. Golden Dawns gained Id in a transaction at 3s 2d. Closing quotations were: —
