CAPSIZE OF LORRY
MEN PINNED UNDERNEATH ONE ADMITTED TO HOSPITAL [by telegraph OWN correspondent] KAITAIA, Thursday When a motor-lorry with a load of metal ran off the Kaitaia-Mangonui road last evening and capsized into a small creek, the owner-driver, Mr. W. Larkins, of Peria, and a passenger, Mr. G. Nathan, were, pinned underneath. Another passenger, Mr. C. Manuel, was thrown clear. Messrs. Larkins and Nathan were extricated with difficulty, and tlie latter was taken to the Kaitaia Hospital, suffering from injuries to the back and neck, though his condition is not serious. Mr. Larkins received only minor injuries. The truck was damaged practically beyond repair.
