FARMERS' TRADING ADVANCE

\ feature of an otherwise dull market on the Auckland Stock Exchange yesterday was another advance in Farmers' Trading shares, which moved up Of} to 9s Bd. following publication of ' the company's accounts. Offers rose to 9s 7d, but dropped back to 9s 6d at the close.' while holders were firm at c)s 10d. Business generally was slack, however, with only a scattered inquiry. Broken Hills and British Tobacco sold without alteration, but Claude Neon (N.Z.) in a transfer at 41s established a fall of Is on the last sale about a month ago. Wilsons Cement again dropped, being iiecured (3d cheaper at 45s (3d. A loss of-3d was made in a sale of New Zealand Newspapers at 43s 3d. Current levels sales were put through in G. J.
