The engagement has been announced between Phyllis, second daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. Partridge, Kairangi, Cambridge, and Peter (Alf), youngest son of Mr. and' the late Mrs. Haggart. of Monavale, Cambridge.
The engagement is announced of Mary (May) D.oreen, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H. G. Hutchinson, of Henderson, to Gordon Robertson, younger son of Mr. and Mrs. Win. Clouston, of Heme Bay.
The engagement is announced of Ethel Grace, second daughter of Mr. and Mrs. K. Miller, -70 New North Road, Auckland, to Alun, only son of Mrs. L. Smith, Kaipara Flats, and the late Rev. D. Tyler Davies.
Tho engagement is announced of Gwcnda Alice, second daughter of Mr. and Mrs. D. Morgan Williams, of "Mangaotawhito," Tiki Tiki, to Colin Wayth Craig, of Raglan, eldest son of Dr. and Mrs. Craig, of Morrinsville.
The engagement has been announced in Melbourne of Margaret Elspeth, second daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ellison Brown, Mount Albert, Melbourne, and George Edward, second son of Mr. and Mrs. G. W. Thomson, Opolio, Dunedin.
Tho engagement is announced of Margaret Bannerman, youngest daughter of Dr. and Mrs. G. Craig, of .Morrinsville, to Alexander Evans, of Whakuangiangi, second son of the late Mr. and Mrs. J. Evans, of Birkenhead. Cheshire, England.
The engagement was announced this week between J. Russell Page, Royal New Zealand Artillery, elder son of Mr. and Mrs. J. Page, of Invereargill, and Betty Pension, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. L. Blundoll, of Hawke's Bay, wrote our London correspondent on May 9.
