After touring the country of Northumberland last week, Miss Emily 0. Lake (Hamilton) spent last week-end in Duns and toured most of Berwickshire, wrote our London correspondent on May 9. She is at present in Edinburgh and next will go to Brechin and will tour the county of Angus.

Miss Sarita McLaughlin (Auckland) arrived in London on May 1 from South America, where she spent four months visiting relatives and friends in Chile and Peru. Mis 3 McLaughlin expects to be in London for some weeks and then to pay visits to friends in the West of England, and later she hopes to go to Ireland.

The Southern Cross Log for May announces with regret the inability of Miss Ida Wench to return to Melanesia, wrote'our London correspondent on May 9. She is not medically fit to do so. Having joined the mission in 1909 she is regarded as a very faithful veteran, who will not be forgotten in the Islands. With her father, Miss Wench will reside in England.
