The Lynndale Amateur Cycle will hold two road races at its New Lynn circuit on Saturday, the junior event starting at 2 p.m. The following handicaps have been declared:— Juniors, 4J miles <on«> . lap).—H. WAIKATO ROAD RACE [from our own correspondent]
TAUPIRI, Tuesday
The Waikato Amateur Cycle Club held a 20-mile road ruco from Huntly to Njfaruawahia and back at the week-end. The winner's time was 47m 30s, while tho fastest time was recorded by R. Norman (scr), with 4Gm 20s. The placinss were:—B, Bryant, lj S. Hatwell, 2; G. Shaw, 8.
