The PAKURANGA HUNT msxM m has again this year a particularly flood kennel of hounds and ig making a spirited effort to ENTERTAIN VISITORS TO THE CITY who are interested in sport. There will be a meet at the EAST TAMAKI HALL on MONDAY, JUNE 1, and at the HOWICK SCHOOL on THURSDAY, JUNE 4. v Hounds Meet at 11.30 a.m. H. Bullock Webster, Esq., Master. This year the Hunt is again holding its ANNUAL HUNT BALL at the PETER PAN on TUESDAY, June 2, following the precedent of tho combined Canterbury Hunts, which hold their Hunt Ball during Grand National Week. The Pakurangs Hunt Ball has been one of the most successful social functions In the last six years, when it was revived after a lapse of a decade. The orchestra is setting all the old familiar Hunt tunes to modem dance music, and will be dressed in sporting pink. It should be a bright affair. An influential and energetic Committee is working to make it the outstanding success it has been in previous years. Mr. A. E. Watkins, of Mission Bay. Phone 25-865, ic the Ball Secretary, and has extended a welcome to many visiting sportsmen. He hfis however, expressed a wish that if he has been unable to get in touch with any of the visitors that they will not fail to get in touch with him.
