MINING LIQUIDATION
GOLDEN GULLY PROJECT WINDING-UP ORDER [BY TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION] CHRISTCHURCH, Tuesday The affairs of the Golden Gully Sluicing and Development Company, Limited, wore before the Supreme Court to-day, when an order for the winding up of the company was granted by Mr. Justice Northcroft. The petition for winding up was presented by three shareholders.
Before the proceedings opened counsel for the voluntary liquidator said he consented to the order for winding up as asked for under Section 169 of the Companies Act.
The order was made accordingly, petitioners being allowed costs. The company was incorporated in 1934 to acquire mining rights and privileges, and 850 acres of alluvial deposits at Collingwood, Nelson Province. The nominal capital is £25,000.
