BUST OF AIRMAN
SIR C. KINGSFORD SMITH GIFT FOR WIGRAM AERODROME A bust of the late Sir Charles Kingsford Smith, executed by Lyall Williams, has been presented to the Canterbury Aero Club by Mr. H. Edwards, of Auckland, who is a member of the club. The bust will be given a prominent position in the clubrooms at Wigram aerodrome. The likeness is an excellent one, and shows Sir Charles in flying habit, his goggles being pushed up on to his forehead. There is a smile on the face, the features of which stand out very clearly. The bust is inscribed: "Smithy."
