PAKURANGA HUNT
MEET AT MANGERE GOOD SPORT ENJOYED Fine sport was enjoyed by the PakuraJlgh Hunt when it met at Mangere on Saturday. The going was good and there was a" large following. Hounds threw off on Mr. 31. Rennie's property, and after several fences had been crossed a bare was put up on Mr. K. Montgomerie's land, the quarry making two circles of a plantation before it escaped into barred country. Another hare was raised on Mr. M. B Kirkbride's land, and gave the hunt a sharp run across to Mr. C Ellett's property, where a kill was made. Another hare was hunted across the properties of Messrs. C. Ellett, H. Ellett and E. Ellett, but it doubled back aud was lost on the beach. There were several other smart runs, and at the con elusion of the hunt the followers were the guests of Mr. and Mrs. E. Ellett at afternoon tea.

THE WAIKATO CLUB GOOD RUNS AT EUREKA [from our own correspondent] CAMBRIDGE, Saturday There was u. good field and many foP' towers in cars at a meet of the Waikato Hunt at Eureka yesterday. Good •sport was 4 enjoyed with many fast runs. The beat chase, which covered over three miles, com tnenced when a nimble hare was raised on Clarkin's Road. It led the field to the hills beyond Mr. E. Johns' property and then" doubled hack and flown the main road toward Morrinsville, being finally killed when it turned back toward the swamp in front of Mr. Clarkin's. The master, Mr. Wynn Brown, had IP, couple of hounds. s.
