FOURSOMES AT AKARANA , Members of the Akarana Golf Club competed on Saturday in a handicap matchDlay foursomes competition for a cup presented by the president. Dr. J. Aitken Paterson. The qualifying round was over 18 holes medal play, the best 10 pairs being drawn for the match-play series. Good teamwork on the part of W, R. "VVoolhouse and •T R. H Biss. playing from an 11 handicap, resulted in them returning the excellent net score of 71, which led the field and annexed the trophies attached to this honour.
