Sir,—The letter above the name of L. P. Knight does not in any way alter the sane humanitarianism set out in Henry T. Hayward's letter. Which Sunday does the Rev. Mr. McFarlanrl or L. P. Knight desire, that of the Old lestament or that of the New? Per hups they do not realise that the Books are in direct conflict regarding Sabbath observances. All historical evidence proves that if Christ were with us to. day he would again avow his opposition to Mosaical law. C. E. Major
