Buyers renewed the previous day's offers for Government loans, but supplies were scarce and no business was doneInquiry for overseas banks was easier, offers for five issues being lowered. Bank of New Zealands changed ' bands -'3d loner at 4os 3d, at which jnore wen wanted Insurances- nu i with an irregular demand. New Zealands were available 3d lower at 60- Ski, and a parcel was secured at 60s. a drop of Gd. Among the industrials, Broken Hill Proprietaries were again in strong request. Offers were lifted by Is to 645, but holders retired. Following a sale
at 16s 3d, the current rate, Dunlop- ' Perdriaus were later unobtainable at that price. Hume Pipe iost Id in a transfer 'at 17s 2d. Breweries were fairly steady and New Zealands and Dominions sold at late rates. Wellington Woollens also were unchanged in dealing. Woolworths (New Zealand), eased slightly on the levels.
