AUCKLAND ASSOCIATION OPENING OF THE NEW SEASON The Auckland Basketball Association's 1936 season was officially opened at the Windmill Road courts on Saturday, when 800 players took part in a knockout tournament. The president, Miss J. D. Neil, welcomed new players before presenting the trophies won iast year. Following are the results:—
