SHOP WINDOWS SMASHED
Damage estimated at £.' so was done to two plate-glass windows which were smashed when a motor-truck mounted the footpath at the corner of Queen and Arthur Streets, Onehunga, about 11 o'clock 011 Wednesday night. The driver of the van, Mr. A. W. Smith, of Seadifl Uoad, Onehunga, was attempting to avoid a motor-car when the mishap occurred. The shop, which is known as Kelsall's Drapery, is occupied by Mr. J. Pilkington.
