RUGBY SCRUM FORMATION
THREE MEN IN FRONT ROW * DECISION MUST BE OBEYED [BY TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION*] • WELLINGTON, Thursday The management committee of the New Zealand Rugby Union last night carried a resolution that unions should be informed that the decision come to by the majority of delegates at the annual meeting that three men should be played in the front row of the scrum in New Zealand this season must be obeyed. The chairman, Mr. S. S. Dean, said delegates at the annual meeting of the New Zealand Rugby Union came to a gentlemen's agreement that three men should be played in the front row of the scrum this season, and it was the duty of clubs to abide by that decision. There should be uniformity, of rules throughout New Zealand.
