LONDON WOOL SALES BRADFORD CHIEF BUYERS POOR EUROPEAN DEMAND LONDON, May 6 At the wool sales to-day 11,272 bales were ottered, including 3756 New Zealand. A total of 8191 bales was sold. There was a good selection and competition was active, chiefly from the home trade. Australian greasy wools were again largely withdrawn, owing to firm limits. Prices favoured buyers. | A New Zealand greasy halfbred clip, j "Hakataramea," sold for 16Jd top price and lad average. Poor Continental competition is • chiefly responsible for value tending in buyers' favour. Dawson and Sons point I out that France is very nervous owing to the internal and international situation.
