WAIKATO WINTER SHOW
NOVEL DECORATIVE PLAN BATTLEMENTED CASTLE [from our own correspondent] HAMILTON, Thursday An original idea for decorating the entrance to the Waikato Winter Show buildings has been adopted by the association in anticipation of the forthcoming show, which will be opened by the Prime Minister, the Rt. Hon. M. J. Savage, on Tuesday, May 2G. A representation of a turreted and battlementcd castlo has been built along the front of the exhibition buildings, and gives a realistic impression. Entries for the show, which close on Monday, are coming forward in large numbers, and are keeping the staff actively employed. The stall-holders are also very busy in preparing their stands for industrial exhibits.
