KING'S SCHOOL
NEW COMPANY FORMED THE BOARD OF GOVERNORS A change in the constitution of King's School is made in the articles of association of King's Schopl, Auckland, which has just been registeced. The company was previously registered as King's Preparatory, Auckland, but the Articles provided for representatives of the now defunct King's Collego Company being on tho King's Preparatory board of governors. To save altering the articles a new company has been formed with a capital of £lO in 200 shares of Is each. Of these shares 20 are "founders' shares," to be issued to those signing tho memorandum —Archbishop Averill, Messrs. C. T. Major, A. I. Johns, S. J. Hanna, D. B. Patterson, H. T. Goldio and T. H. Dawson—and any others the board of governors may think fit. The 180 ordinary shares are to be issued to Mr. Major. Tho board of governors is to consist of Mr. Major or his representative and the Bishop of tho Diocese of Auckland as long as any money is owing by the company to Mr. Major or his estato. After tho money has been paid the board is to bo increased to nine by the nddition of a representative of the King's College Old Boys' Association (Incorporated) and six members elected by the shareholders.
