DIOCESAN OLD GIRLS
OPENING OF SEASON "There's Always Juliet," a comedy by John Van Drutcn, was chosen for the first reading of tho season by tho Diocesan Old Girls' Plav-reading Club. Tho evening was held at the homo of Miss Dell Yule in Claudelands on Monday evening. Tho east comprised Miss D. Sandford, Miss P. Tait, Miss N. Sergei and Miss M. Houghton. Zinnias and hydrangeas in autumn shades were artistically arranged in the rooms. Supper brought to a close a very successful evening. Miss Yule received tho guests wearing a gown of bottle green satin and velvet. Those present were: —Mrs. D'Arcy Smith, Miss Margaret Johnston, Miss Annette Gillies, Miss Doreen Sandford, Miss Molly Annett (Matangi), Miss Patty Blake, Miss Mavis Hall, Miss Irene Hawkins, Miss Phyllis Tait, Miss Betty • Primrose, Miss Alison Hooker, Miss Muriel House, Miss Patty Kingston, Miss Edna House, Miss Noreen Sergei, Miss Betty Clark, Miss Noeline Peterson, Miss Estelle Millar, Miss Marjorie Houghton, Miss Leonio Swarbriek, Miss Jocelvn Milroy, Miss Dorothy Miss Cathie Speight, Miss Alma Sandford, Miss Mary Speight, Miss Elaine Hall, Miss Valmai Hall (Horotiu).
