CITY OCCUPIED AEROPLANES OVERHEAD BELIEF IN LEGATIONS REIGN OF TERROR ENDS LONDON. May 5 The British Minister to Abyssinia, Sir Sidney Barton, in a wireless message to the Foreign Office, announces that a large force of Italian troops in lorries entered Addis Ababa'this afternoon. After an Italian native column had made junction with mechanised troops, amid ecstatic enthusiasm Marshal Badoglio entered the city on a white charger, while aeroplanes flew overhead. Grenadiers and Alpini, staff officers, wireless operators, journalists, field kitchens, additional regiments of the line, Engineers, and Black Shirt volunteers followed. The news of the arrival of the Italians flew in a score of different languages to the thousands of refugees. The Legation guards relaxed their vigilance for the first time since Sunday's reign of terror, which culminated in M.
