STEERING GEAR FAILS
MOTOR-CYCLIST INJURED A compound fracture of his left arm and other injuries wero suffered by a young man, Mr. James Leslie Mills Waygood, aged 23, of 23 Roberton Road, Avondale, when the steering gear of his motor-cycle failed and the machine struck a telegraph pole at the corner of Carlton Goro Road And Park Road early yesterday afternoon. Mr. Waygood was taken to the Auckland Hospital in a St. John ambulance. His condition last night was not serious.
