SCHOOL ELECTION
WHANGAREI NOMINATIONS [by telegraph—own correspondent] \V lIA NG A R KI, Wednesday Owing to a misunderstanding, no nominations were received for tho Whangarci School Committee for the recent election. The Education Board lias now fixed May 13 as tho date for the election, and the following nominations have been received for the nine scats: —Messrs. C. V. Stringer (chairman), G. P. Lornie, H. W. Cleary, D. J. Baker, O. P. Owen, E. B. Moore, Mesdames S. C. Blanshard and T. J. Evans (sitting members), Messrs. G. Boscawen, Harold Wilson, H. Parker and E. l?oss. The other sitting member, Mr. J. Burfoot, has left tho district.
