MOUNTED RIFLES' CAMP
NORTH AUCKLAND REGIMENT [by telegraph—OWN correspondent] WHANGAREI, Wednesday Championship, points in connection with tho sports meeting of tho North Auckland Mounted Rifles camp in Kensington Park during tho week-end have been awarded, and the points go toward tho regimental sports cup. B Squadron (Major D. T. Wood) was first with 18 points; C Squadron (Captain D. G. Morrison), 17 points; A Squadron (Major H. T. Atkinson), 8 points; and Headquarters Squadron (Captain A. A. McQueen, M.M.), 5 points. Night operations wero carried out last evening by the regiment, the exercise being to test tho regiment in turning out in tho darkness, and particularly good work was done.
