PEDESTRIAN'S DEATH
CAUSE NOT DETERMINED CORONER ORDERS AUTOPSY [from our own correspondent] HAMILTON. Wednesday An inquest into the death of William Thompson, aged 52, of Kawhia. ivho died in the Waikato Hospital last evening following an accident in which he was involved at Cambridge on Saturday evening was opened beforo Mr. F. W. Platts, coroner, to-day. Dr. A. L. Wilson, of the Waikato Hospital medical staff, gave evidence regarding deceased's conditio*! on admission. Apart from a scalp wound, there were no marks of violence on his body. Witness could not state what was the cause of death. The coroner ordered a post-mortem examination, and adjourned the' inquest.
