LEAGUE OF MOTHERS

Epsom.—The monthly meeting of the branch was held last week, when Mrs. J. Begbie presided over a good attendance. "An Anzac Thought" was given by Mrs. R. H. Newbold as "the thought for the month, ' and Mrs. Rattray sang "Bless This Home." Mrs. S. 0 English, provincial president, spoke on the aims and objects of the League of Mothers. Kohimarama.—At the April meeting of the branch the devotions were led by Mrs. T. S. Littlejohn. The thought for the month was given by Mrs. Lewis Eady. An address entitled "False Standards" was given by Mrs. F. Whyte, provincial secretary, and vocal items by Mrs. Lee were enjoyed. Afternoon tea was later served. Henderson. —The Henderson branch held a members' afternoon last week, over while the president, Mrs. Harvey, presided. Ibe thought for the month was given by Mrs. Osborne. Tea was in the charge of Mrs. Newey.
