GOLDEN WEDDING

MR. AND MRS W. GLASGOW [by telegraph—OWN correspondent] TUAKAU, Wednesday Mr. and Mrs. William Glasgow, of Dominion Road, Tuakau, celebrated their golden wedding with their family in their home on Monday evening, and were the recipients of many congratulatory messages and gocd wishes. Mr. and Mrs. Glasgow were married in Pukekohe 50 years ago. They moved across the Waikato River soon afterward to Onewhero, being among the pioneers of chat district. After breaking in their farm from the standing bush they retired to Tuakau some 2;i years ago and have since made their home there. Of their family of three daughters and five sons, two sons were killed in action in the Great War, while one died in infancy as the result of an accident. Mr. and Mrs. Glasgow are both wonderfully active and take a keen interest in all current affairs. Mr. Glasgow is a justice of the peace and a past master of the Grand Orango Ixnlge. Both ho and Mrs. Glasgow have boon lifelong members of the Presbyterian Church.
