[bt telegraph—own' correspondent] TE KUITI, Tuesday A case brought by the Acclimatisation Society's inspector, Mr. James Dobson, against Tony Thomas, for fishing without a licence and using illegal bait, a liuhu, was concluded before Mr. F. H. Levien in the Magistrate's Court todav. Defendant was convicted and fined £2 and ordered to pay costs, 12s, and witness' expenses, £3 5s 6d, on the first and convicted and fined £2 costs on the second.
