BOXING AT LIVERPOOL
WALSH DEFEATS KID BERG LIGHT-WEIGHT TITLE BOUT LONDON, April 2G Jimmy Walsh on Saturday deprived "Kid" Berg of the British light-weight boxing title in a sensational bout at Liverpool. ' Berg was sent to the floor twice in the first round and was severely trounced in the eighth, in which he sprained one of his ankles. Berg fell against the ropes in the ninth round and the referee stopped the bout.
