OTAHUHU PARENTS' CLUB
The annual meeting of the Otahuhu Parents' Club was hold last week, Mr. T. W. Mild presiding. The balancesheet showed the club to be in a'sound financial position. It was decided to make donations to the following organisations: —Plunket Society, No. 1 Troop, Boy Scouts, Seton Memorial Scouts, St. Joseph's Scouts, Girl Guides, Candidates branch Girls' Friendly Society, St. Joseph's School cocoa £und, District School cocoa fund, St. Mary's Homes, Mayor of Auckland's Crippled Children Fund. The election of officers resulted: — President, Mr. W. W. Dawson (reelected); vice-president, Mrs. J. Kemp; honorary secretary, Mrs. T. W. Nield; honorary treasurer, Mrs. R. Knovvles; committee, Mesdames H. Jackson, Simons, Wood, Pengelly, Pierce, Balson, Warrington, Craig, Martin, Constance, Messrs. Currio, Goulter, Martin and Alexander. At the conclusion of business supper was served by members of the committee.
