The engagement is announced of John Edward Buckingham Pope, Coldstream Guards, only son of Major and Mrs. Maurice Pope, of Ashwicke Hall, Chippenham, and Elizabeth Burges, eldest daughter of Rear-Admiral F. Burges Watson, D.5.0., of Four Winds, Bosham, Sussex.
