WAIKATO REGIMENT
PROMOTION OF OFFICERS Several promotions of officers in the Waikato Regiment are announced. Captain A. E. Gibbons and Captain C. F. Thomas, of tho Ist Battalion, have each been appointed to the rank of major. In the same battalion Lieut. J. C. Hepburn and Lieut. G. 1). Hunter have gained their captaincy. Lieut. H. G. Carter and Lieut. C. F. O'Connor, of the Ist Cadet Battalion, have been promoted to the rank of captain.
