RESCUE OF ENTOMBED MEN KING'S MESSAGE TO GOVERNOR l: (Received April 26, 5.5 p.m.) VANCOUVER, April 25 A message from Moose River, Nova Scotia, says the whole mine in which three men were buried is collapsing. The Minister of Mines, Mr. M. Dwyer, says a rabbit could hardly get up the rapidlj'-closing rescue shaft to-day. The mine is likely to sink completely over the week-end. A message from the King to the Lieutenant-Governor, Mr. H. Covert, reads:—"l am thrilled by the amazing victory of the gallant men." Mr. Alfred Scadding's trench feet are causing concern through the danger of gangrene. Mr. Scadding has been offered 500 dollars a week to appear on the stage, and numerous radio and press offers tb tell of his experiences have been made to Dr. E. D. Robertson, but he is declining all offers.
