NEW PRESIDENT
✓ FEDERATION OF INDUSTRIES LORD HIRST APPOINTED LONDON, April 22 Lord Hirst, formerly Sir Hugo Hirst, has been elected president of the Federation of British Industries. Lord Hirst, who was raised to the peerage in June, 1934, is chairman and managing director of the General Electric Company, Limited.
