PRICES GENERALLY STEADY A FIRM UNDERTONE (Received April 23, 8.5 p.m.) SYDNEY, April 23 Although -there was not a great amount of buying support, there was ft firm undertone about the investment market on the Sydney Stock Exchange to-da.v, particularly for the better-class industrials. Prices were generally steady. The quotation for silver at per fine oz. is 21gd, compared with 22 3-lGd yesterday. « BUTTER AGAIN ADVANCES MARKET FIRM AT 87/- TO 88/- # Tho butter market in London continues to show an improving tendency. A quotation received by Joseph Nathan and Company, Limited, from. Trengrouse and Nathan, London, records a further rise of Is, with the market firm at 87s to 88s per cwt.
