BRIDGE AFTERNOON

Y.W.C.A. FUNDS BENEFIT A special effort to augment the general funds of the Y.W.C.A. was made by two members of the Y.W.C.A. membership committee, Mrs. J. A. C. Allum and Mrs. J. S. Millar, who organised a bridge afternoon, which was held yesterday in the Point Erin Tea Kiosk. As a result of the work of the two members, with tlio assistance of Mrs. Alfred Leyland, Mrs. J. 11. Aitchison and Mrs. A E. Whitten, tho sum of about £lO was obtained. The president of the Y.W.C.A., Mrs. A. D. Campbell, expressed her appreciation* of the oil'ort of Mrs. Allum, Mrs. Millar and their small committee and also thanked all those who had assisted by being present that afternoon. Tho prize winners were Mrs. W. Chaney, Mrs. H. F. Wright, Mrs. J. B. Grant and Mrs. A. C. Pauson. Among the players were: —Mrs. P. Lightbourne, Mrs. F. E. Bell, Mrs. Hannan, Miss D. Bell, Mrs. L. J.
